ABOUT OUR FAIR

UPDATED: Join us at the Rapides Parish Fair! Every dollar raised goes towards supporting our local 4-H and FFA programs, as well as providing assistance to senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, and nursing homes. Your contributions help fund premiums for our dedicated 4-H and FFA youth, ensuring a brighter future for our community. Come enjoy the festivities and make a difference!

Get ready for an unforgettable experience packed with excitement! This October at the Rapdes Fair Grounds, you’ll find everything from live entertainment with the Glory Bound Cloggers. LIVE MUSIC,  4-H livestock competitions. AND MUCH MORE!  Tne Red River Rumble livestock show will also take place at the fair this year. Enjoy entertainment for the whole family, mouth-watering food vendors on Vendor Alley and the midway, thrilling rides, and fun games! With admission at just $2  for ages 6 and up (and free for kids 5 and under), it is an event you won't want to miss!

Rapides Parish Fair!

Thomas Carnival looks forward to seeing you at the Rapides Parish Fair, Wednesday through Sunday, October 14–18, 2026. Fairgrounds Location.  The fair will be held at: 8149 Highway 71 South,  Alexandria, Louisiana  Just past LSUA

The fairgrounds are approximately 15 minutes from the former location. Guests can enjoy acres of free, lighted parking, including 1,320 additional parking spaces. Gated grounds and perimeter fencing provide added security for a safer, family-friendly fair experience.

Gate Admission

  • Ages 6 and older: $2

  • Ages 5 and younger: Free​
